Rick Henry is passionate about teaching and dedicated to bringing the joy of music to all who want to learn. In teaching he strives not only to cultivate good technique and musicianship, but also the values of discipline and dedication. He is from the South Jersey area and studied with Philadelphia Orchestra violinist Davyd Booth. He earned a Bachelors of Music from the Boyer College of Music and Dance at Temple University. In the past he has taught privately and in group settings for the Philadelphia String Project and Community Music Scholar’s Program. He is registered as a Suzuki trained teacher through book 1.
