Cal has been playing and studying music since the age of 8. A graduate of LA's Guitar Institute of Technology at Musician's Institute and Drexel University, he has studied under teachers/players such as Joe Pass, Larry Carlton, Scott Henderson and Paul Gilbert as well as many others. His diversified background includes years of performing, teaching and studio experiences. With a strong background in rock, blues, jazz, country and fusion, he offers a great many options for both beginning all the way through advanced students.
His approach to teaching is student based, assessing and customizing a curriculum that starts with an emphasis on strong basics, including music theory, ear training and sight reading. All students will start at the same place and grow and develop from there based on their learning goals. The method will be continually evolving as the student progresses.
Cal Teaches: Guitar Lessons, Ukulele Lessons and Bass Lessons.
