Jack Burdwood holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wittenberg University and serves as a freelance percussionist, drummer, and educator nationwide.
Known for her versatility, Jack has performed in a wide variety of settings on an extensive array of percussion instruments. From the concert hall with the Pennsylvania Symphonic Winds to the stage at SXSW in Austin, Texas to local pit orchestras around New Jersey, Jack thrives on exploring the wide world of the percussive arts.
In addition to her drumming and percussive expertise, Jack is also an accomplished handbell ringer. She has performed with professional ensembles across the country such as the Austin Handbell Ensemble and has participated in the Distinctly Bronze mass ring event. In addition, she frequently serves as a faculty member at the Handbell National Seminar. Her broad experience enables her to effectively guide her students toward their individual musical passions.
Jack takes great joy in teaching students of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. She offers instruction in a variety of styles on drum set, orchestral percussion, and serves as the battery instructor with the William Tennant High School Marching Band. Taking a personalized approach to each student's growth, Jack fosters individual growth in both technical skills and creativity, fostering a lifelong love of music.
